Pierre Garçon Goes HAM in Losing Effort with Rookie QB Curtis Painter

TAMPA BAY, USA (defend.ht) - Maybe it was the good weather, Florida sun or perhaps because Hank Williams' Monday Night Football opening was banned by ESPN because he likened U.S. President Barack Obama to Adolf Hitler, but on Monday night Pierre Garçon, with a rookie third-string quarter back went ham.
It was a losing effort by the Indianapolis Colts who traveled to Tampa Bay to face the Buccaneers, but without Peyton Manning, the young rookie quarterback, who stepped in after Kerry Collins failed to produce, look pretty good and wide receiver Pierre Garçon looked like the PG-85 of two years ago; when the Colts were last in the Super Bowl.
This first play in the second quarter, Garçon stiff arms the hell out of Tampa defender to get a beeline down the sideline to the endzone.
The defender, Bucs cornerback Aqib Talib, would later say, Pierre Garcon ain’t no slouch." "Painter put the ball in there in the hole. I’ve got to get him (Garcon) down, that’s all on me. That should have been a 20-yard gain."
The second play, Garçon took a screen pass in the third quarter, from the line of scrimmage - 40-yard-line, Colts side - to the house for 6, passing through nearly all 11 Buccaneer defenders.
Although the Colts are 0-4 this season, there is a lot of hope after last nights play. Even Ronde Barber (Tampa Bay Cornerback) had something nice to say:
